He even brought us breakfast at 5 AM before our early morning safari, which was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We also highly recommend the cooking class hosted by his sister and niece. It was a fantastic experience, and we learned so much about local cuisine while enjoying a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is beautifully situated close to rice fields and the rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The famliy ist very helpful and friendly - thanks again a lot! The breakfast was superb, including a lot of Sir Lankan food and fresh fruits and the family did even buy some special exotic fruits that i asked for. So if you spend some days in Polonnaruwa i can definitely recommend to stay at Man Guest.

To the historical part you can cycle by bicycle , there is a path, you don’t have to cycle on the highway. The juices are very tasty.
