Of all the places we stayed at during our month long trip to yucatan peninsula, this place was by far the best. Dominic, the guy taking care of the place, is really cool, empsthetic and very helpful. knowledgable of places to go etc. The room was clean, so were the bathroom and the kitchen. Plenty of space to chill out at - the pool, the kitchen/common room, the terrace. Its also possible to rent a scooter there, for a reasonable price.

Our stay was amazing! best location, super clean! Andrea is super nice and helpful and recommended amazing places to eat, explore, and experience. The location is a 5 min walk to north beach (which I'd say is the best one on Isla Mujer) and 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

It had everything we could have wanted - the bed was comfortable, the air-con was great and the wifi was pretty fantastic considering it’s on an island. We walked to and from the ferry terminal, and walked everywhere from the accommodation. The owners are very friendly and kind. It’s so quiet, even during the day, which made it very relaxing. We slept so well!

This was our favourite place we have stayed in so far on our trip. The double bed and balcony room was so authentic and perfect. The room was brilliantly cleaned everyday. The communal area featured a fridge, microwave and free water as well as utensils to make breakfast and lunch. The location was perfect too, just a short walk to the restaurants and lagoon. The family that run the case were extremely helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again!

Rodolfo was always there for us and very friendly. Kitchen was nice, hot water in the shower and even a coffeemaschine. We felt very welcomed and it was always nice to get back from the city center:)

Casa Mech di Pulau Holbox menyediakan penginapan dewasa-saja dengan kolam renang luaran, taman dan teres. Mauricio is the best host! We immediately felt like friends at Casa Mech. He gave us awesome suggestions for restaurants and always took time to chat with us and check in about our stay. The guesthouse is small with just 6 rooms and is built so that you feel like you are staying in a tropical tree house. The rooms are clean, beautiful, and romantic! We loved the little pool on the roof; perfect for a refreshing dip after a day at the beach. We had the best time!

The owner, Horacio, is very helpful and informative - he even gave us a Lonely Planet of Yucatan for free. A walk from the town center, but fortunately there is a very good restaurant nearby the Amigos Hotelito. It is expensive for Mexican standards since - with its heavenly lagoon - Bacalar has become a highlight in Yucatan. The price is right for the location.
