The quiet environment, beautiful garden, great pool, hot shower and staff are really nice. The lady at the reception speaks good English and is most helpful. It is a little more expensive but fully worth staying here. There is a local bus 165 to Huembes mercado. It is worth going to the Malecon in late afternoon. Beautiful walking stretch, lights, restaurants, sunset and views of the lake. Managua is fine for a few days. Hardly any tourists!

Also, I really appreciated how quiet it was. Although this is in the heart of Managua, only a 10 minute drive to a very nice large shopping mall, the fact that Managua Hills is tucked away on a side street in a quiet neighborhood provides much needed peace and quiet from the busy city. That was really nice. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe in the area. The vegetation/plants and layout of this place were all beautiful. The pool was clean, refreshing, and relaxing. And the staff was very kind and welcoming. I stayed for three days/two nights, no complaints. When I requested transportation to the airport on my last day, they were very flexible with my schedule and offered me a safe ride with a reasonable charge. I really enjoyed my stay at Managua Hills. Thank you!
