Die Aussicht und die Umgebung sind atemberaubend. Die Unterkunft war auch mit einem Scooter gut erreichbar. Das Personal war absolut top!

This was easily one of the best hostels if have stayed at. The host family is extremly welcoming and organizes everything you could want (taxi, bikerental, kayaktour) at good prices. The room was cleaned every day and we were given fresh towels daily as well. The breakfast (can only recommend adding that) is delicious and filling. There was a hiccup with the communication via booking.com (it had overbooked the room and when we got there a solution was already provided. I cannot overstate how nice and generous the hostess Odelba and her family was. Jutst thank you for making our stay this wonderful!

A lovely family runs the place and makes sure you have everything you need. Rooms are basic but comfortable, A few blocks from the main area of town, which made for a peaceful and quiet night.

This place is great! The value is amazing - one of the lowest prices we’ve found for a private room with private bathroom in almost 6 months of travelling in Latin America. Our room was clean and spacious, wifi worked well, there is a nice garden, and the location is good. There is a small kitchen which was a nice surprise since it wasn’t listed as an amenity on Booking. Danilo is a great host and speaks English very well. Also used him as a guide up Conception volcano and he was great. It also sounds like he has plans to invest more into the hostel so it will be even better!

We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

Die Unterkunft Hostal Bullshark, die in Cuatro Esquinas, 16 km von Vulkan Maderas entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem kostenlosen Privatparkplatz,... - Extrem freundliche Gastgeber-Familie - wir hatten den Bungalow, welcher für den Preis echt top war, man hatte alles was man brauchte - das inkludierte Frühstück ist sehr lecker - die Lage ist gut, wenn man gerne beide Inselhälften erkunden möchte, da sie direkt in der Mitte ist - der Sohn (?) hat uns perfekt bei einem Spinnenproblem geholfen haha

Die Unterkunft Guest House Nena, die in Moyogalpa gelegen ist und von der aus Vulkan Maderas in weniger als 35 km erreichbar ist, bietet einen Conciergeservice, Zimmer, einen Garten, kostenloses WLAN... I had an amazing experience in Nena’s Guesthouse! The service was absolutely excellent from start to finish. I want to especially recommend Nena’s motorbike rental service – it was convenient, reliable, and made exploring the area so much easier. Narcy was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, I enjoyed very much. She answered all of my questions with patience and a smile, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean, with everything I needed to feel at home. Everybody was friendly! A special thank you to Narcy, who went above and beyond by taking me around the island and making sure I had one of the best days of my entire trip. Her kindness and care truly made a difference — I’ll definitely be coming back!
