We loved our stay! Mr Muhren was a very welcoming host and the tour of his recording studio was fascinating!

The owners/hosts were most hospitable, accessible, friendly and accommodating (this is a guest house so you will encounter them at some point). Check in was facilitated by the host, but if he wasn't there, self check-in would be easy to do. The house was beautiful with immaculate grounds. The place was easy to find and was less than 10 minutes by car to Hoorn Centrum and the train stations.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early after a long flight, which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the room was fantastic, and the location is perfect—within walking distance to both the city and the beach. There's also convenient car parking right in front of the complex. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return!

Situated at the harbour of Enkhuizen overlooking the IJsselmeer, Herberg de Compagnie offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. The city centre is only a 5-minute walk away. Friendly helpful staff and great food. Big surprise was the jacuzzi in the bath and Rituals products in the bathroom.
