This is a dream property with amazing hosts. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the gate. They have created such cozy spaces for guests and the provide great amenities like coffee and tea, toast and other small breakfast items. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! This is a wonderful place, everything about it was great! It is ideal for those who are looking for a basis near gorgeous nature, peaceful surroundings, privacy, comfort, and relatively close to Marlborough Sounds. We loved the house, being 2 floors plus terrace and garden allows lots of space for all. Kids loved the trampoline! All the fresh fruits and eggs and supplies available was great to have when we get there. I recommend staying at least 2 nights (we stayed 3!). It was lovely to meet the owners, very inspiring couple!

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite.
