The accommodation was very clean and private and close to the ferry, beach and restaurants. The special “extras” that the hosts added were very much appreciated.

Among the many wonderful accomodations on Waiheke Island, we chose Wild Thyme because they gave detailed information about the location and facilities, which made it easy for us to imagine what our stay would be like. AND Wild Thyme was PERFECT in every way! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and were spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, while the place is located in a convenient area, shops and the beach of Onorea within walking distance. Most of all, Jules and Bruce were great hosts, being attentive and kind. It is all thanks to their welcome, my parents and I truly enjoyed an unforgettable vacation. Another BIG attraction is Jule's Wine Tour! The information is also written on the notebook provided in your room. I highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. She asked us about our wine preferences in advance and came up with the Perfect plan. We visited Allpress Olive Groves, Tantalus, Man O'War+lunch, Waiheke Gin Distillery and Passage Rock. It may have been partly because it was winter and the wineries were quiet, but Jules arranged with the winery staff to grant our selfish request to try wines(bubbles!) that were not on the regular tasting menu! She even arranged for us to taste limited edition gin at the distillery. She took us to hard-to-reach places in the east and south of the island, such as ManO'War and Passage Rock, where we enjoyed not only the drinks but also the charms of the island as a whole. It's only been a week since I returned home, but I already feel a strong desire to go back.

Το La Bodega Waiheke Island βρίσκεται σε Surfdale, σε απόσταση 12 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Wild on Waiheke και παρέχει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. Just superb. Brett and Veronica were excellent hosts and I cannot recommend La Bodega enough. Excellent accommodation and facilities with the views that were just breathtaking. We will return on our next trip to New Zealand.

The Loft is beautiful, and it’s adjacent to the Miro winery. Just a walk down through the vineyard to wine tasting and yummy snacks. The Loft is well appointed and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

We booked both houses for a group of 14, couldn’t recommend it enough. Fantastic accommodation and facilities, very handy to everything on the island and great value.

The hosts were kind and very accommodating offering fresh lettuce from their personal garden to a complimentary bottle of local wine. This property will leave you with fond memories of amazing Waiheke Island for years to come.

The house is located in the forest with an incredible view of nature ! The host was really nice and the rooms were perfect We had such a nice time and wished we could have stayed one more night!

Το Cable Bay Guesthouse έχει θέα στον κήπο και παρέχει βεράντα και καφετιέρα. Το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Wild on Waiheke είναι περίπου 7,7 χλμ μακριά. Staff was super nice, kindly came all the way up to the highway with her car to pick me up. It was very helpful as the road to the accommodation will be bit rough with suitcase.
