Mosana Reef Garden B&B ligger i Bluff Beach, 5 km fra byen Bocas og 26 km fra Buena Vista. Der er bar på stedet. Der er gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering på stedet. Right on the sea, you go to sleep to the noise of the surf. Nadia and Salvatore are great hosts. Food is excellent. There are not many places to stay directly on the sea but this is one of them. Don't miss out.

Ponci’s Gate to Gaia Holistic Center ligger i Bocas del Toro og har et fitnesscenter, have, et privat strandområde og fælles opholdsområde. We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Offering views of the sea, La Loma Jungle Lodge and Chocolate Farm is located in Isla Bastimentos, 10 km from Bocas Town. The food was incredible. Every meal was different, had multiple courses and was the best food we ate on our whole trip through Central America! The view was amazing. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to all my friends and family :) I also really enjoyed that all the activities were run by local guides. We learnt a lot about the local culture, wildlife and history of the area and all the guides spoke great English.

Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel ligger i Bocas del Toro, 1 minutters gang fra Carenero Strand. Her er concierge-tjeneste, et privat strandområde, en restaurant samt gratis wi-fi. Vi havde et skønt ophold. Det er tydeligt, at der er lagt meget omtanke i værelsesindretningen og opholdsområdet. Vi manglede absolut intet. Vi boede der tre nætter med vores to børn, og der var masser at lave for dem. Lege med hundene, spille, snorkle, bade fra den lille strand. De elskede det. Vi fik virkelig gode anbefalinger til ture og restauranter og kan især anbefale båd-tur med René.

Hotel Tierra Verde Bed and Breakfast ligger i Bocas del Toro og har en udendørs swimmingpool, have, et privat strandområde og terrasse. Isla Carenero had everything for me. Restaurants, bars, beach, and great surf. I booked an excursion through the hotel to go snorkelling which was less expensive than what I had been told. The tour boat picked me and another couple up right from tierra verdes dock shortly after breakfast

Bastimentos Hill Guest House ligger i Bocas del Toro og har en have, privat strandområde, et fælles opholdsområde og terrasse. It was such a lovely experience here. A beautiful and charming hostel with a gorgeous view. Such friendly staff and really helpful. It has everything you need and you’ll leave with new friends too! I would definitely stay again :)

Beverly's Hill Guest House ligger i Bocas del Toro og har en have og terrasse samt gratis wi-fi. Gæsterne kan nyde udsigten til haven. This lovely place is located on the island of Bastimentos, less than 15 minutes away from the main island by speed boat. It has great views of the ocean from any of the cabinas! I had the best view from my private cabina with a private bathroom. I loved the abundance of fruit trees available (starfruit, banana 🍌, coconut 🥥). My cabina was spacious, and I love having windows 🪟; there were 3 in my cabina, and one was over the bed that opened completely to the freshness of nature. Simon is very nice and welcoming. He helped me tremendously when I needed a little cash until I got back to the mainland. He was attentive to other requested needs of fixing the plumbing and cleaning the kitchen when I suggested it. Simon suggested I visit Playa Estrella by bus, which was very affordable ($5 round trip). It was a lovely day spent there, and I saw 6 starfish. I ate the best meal of the five nights I spent in Bocas - the best red snapper of my life, and I could actually taste the coconut milk in the Caribbean rice & beans with a nice fresh salad 😋 from the first restaurant after you exit the bus 🚌. I love Florindo, the maintenance guy! He was very helpful to me with whatever I needed. If you see a Jamaican lady (Chi-chi) selling Plantain tarte from her porch, you should try some. She's kept her grandmother's original recipe, and it's been the best I've ever eaten. She only makes them a couple of times a week, so get it when you see her. Also, there's an Indian woman who you may find sitting at the bridge near the Jamaican's home selling coco bread; it is also delicious 😋. I wished I'd bought the entire pack.
