The place was pretty good especially for the amount I paid for. Room was big, the bed was cosy, the facilities are great even though I didn't get to swim in the pool. The staff are nice and really helpful. Location is great especially if you want to attend events in SM Lanang. I can say it's safe despite the surroundings so don't let that fool you. Davao people are really nice and it's safe even if you walk in the middle of the night.

Kind and always available day or night. The room was very nice, clean and a basic setup but just right for a week stay. Hot water for your shower is very nice as well. I've stayed at other hotels in Panabo, but will always return to Calo Apartel. Close to most of the area with little walking. That too is a wonderful experience because the shops and food vendors are like friends here. I could write a book on the wonderful experience made possible by staying at this hotel. Cost is very fair and if ever need to stay in Panabo, I know this place has an atmosphere of home.
