The lady running Kingfisher House couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. She organised a car and driver to take us to local attractions and also a lift to bus station when we left. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the location great- walking distance to the teak bridge and 100 meters to Baan Unrak vegan restaurant and bakery! Could not have asked for more !

P.Y. Guest House is 200 meres from JEATH War Museum. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and free drinking water. Our hosts were very nice people. They helped us to secure transport for a temple tour with a very nice and helpful tuktuk man. Our host also took us to the night markets on his tuktuk for free as well as to the bus station on departure. Our room was nice and comfortable with no issues.

The owner was lovely, gave us lots of local recommendations and was all round attentive, helped us book a taxi to the bus station The accommodation itself was clean, modern, and came with useful amenities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste We really liked the location and the fact that it’s not directly in the centre, it was peaceful and nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. We rented a motorbike for 300baht a day from Vawa Guesthouse and travelled around, was really easy to get to Erawan National Park on the motorbike. Don’t hesitate to stop for food in the unassuming places in the local villages along the way - they’re really good! Side note: Try and attend the Saturday walking market if you’re here over a weekend! We also loved the Khao Soi at Kin Khao Lam Restaurant and the beef brisket noodles at สุดใจเนื้อตุ๋นหมูตุ๋น. Recommend getting a Grab car from the bus station

Grounds are beautiful and our accommodation was spacious and perfect for our large family. The tranquil evenings having a beer on the deck were perfect. The owners were amazing. Yve and Dieng could not be more kind and helpful. They helped with local attraction suggestions including restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and We all felt at home in this oasis. One of our favorite places to stay.

Boasting panoramic views of River Kwai, the family-run VN Guesthouse is located in Kanchanaburi. Free WiFi is available in all of the guestrooms. Affordable riverside rooms, I enjoyed the view from the balcony. Very relaxing to sit in the morning or evening. I visited Kanchanaburi by train and arrived ahead of the check in time, the hotel was very kind to let me check in early. The young lizard visiting was a delightful suprise.

Nice pool and dining area. Great meals! Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location next to the river. Easy walk to the museum and many restaurants.

The colours of the Bungalows have long time ago faded, but the room was superb and well kept, spotless clean and very comfortable. Almost no English is spoken, but the friendly owner was well used to checking in foreigners. I really liked having a little private terrace outside my room. Lots of extras are supplied here. Everything you need. There's also a shared basic kitchen with a kettle, microwave and free coffee, tea and some bread. Excellent Wifi.
