We walked to wonderful cafes and restaurants along the beach and felt incredibly lucky to have them so close by. And the cafes (Lay Lagom, Kathy's Coffee, Pad Thai) and restaurants (Bangpor Seafood Takho) were terrific and very good value. Su, the owner of the hotel, was lovely and always helpful with local knowledge and tips of getting around the island.

The Guest House is some distance away from the popular hotspots of Lamai and Chaweng, but it is a personal choice on what one is looking for. You will need a scooter for travelling around, as all major shopes and restaurants are atleast 5-10 minutes drive away... I highly recommend Laura's guest house for everyone looking for a serene and quiet holiday location.

I was meant to stay there however I had to leave after a day due to an bike accident My shoulder ligaments are completely torn and I had no body , Kesha looked after me well , which I felt like home , she went above and beyond with her hospitality, she got some ice for my injury in the meantime where I booked my tickets and had an early departure to home for surgery Place is in central , new and clean I def recommend

We were upgraded when we arrived which was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Loved how close it is to the ocean and the beach. Very mellow but lovely part of town. We liked that the water bottles were glass.
