Lee and his family are very welcoming and can help with anything you need. They speak english too. There are also some shops, restaurants and even cheap public transport near by. It is just nice to stay away from the extremely busy city center. Highly recommend it. I ended up spending a week here.

Like most homestay in Hanoi, this house locates in a quiet alley, surrounded by greens and birds. I like the neighbourhood. It reminds me a lot of my childhood for its peaceful vibe. The bus station is within 10 mins walk, good for people who are not renting a bike. I like the building. Old-fashioned style but newly redecorated inside. I spent two nights in 1st floor. It looks exactly like the picture on Booking. There's a fridge, a table, a large bed, a closet, a chair. Affordable price for people travelling alone. The bathroom is outside the room, down the stairs. It takes a few steps to reach. Very clean and new. The landlord lady is super nice. She even drives me to the bookshop I'm looking for.
