He carried our suitcases in for us, made sure we knew how to use the locks, TV and air-conditioning, and when we left he saw us out and gave us a free gift. It was raining and he offered us an umbrella, and I accidentally forgot something small and he ran out to find us. The traditional beds were a little uncomfortable, but we were tired and it wasn't so bad for us being younger; I imagine you could put the heavy blanket down first to have more padding, and we only were there 2 nights. Bathroom is modern and very clean, the room was clean and the air-conditioning works very well. Location was amazing - just a quick walk down to the village. There wasn't heaps of room for the suitcases, but when the beds aren't in use, it was fine - we could push them to the side easily enough at night.

It was our first Hanok experience and the most memorable part of our 8-day trip in Korea! As other reviews have pointed out, the location is perfect and the owner is friendly. I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Mr. Choi. We learned that he is a retired banker. He is super organized, attentive, and helpful. After he knew that my wife is a K-drama fan, he immediately marked a few famous filming locations on the map. In addition, there was a water cooler in his office, and it helped a lot for us to get hot drinking water on cold days. His wife is also a friendly lady, and we tried to communicate via the translation apps! This kind of interactions with locals really enriched our experience. We had never slept on the floor before, but we were glad that we got used to it, with the help of extra pillows! I can’t find words to describe the wonder of lying on the heated floor and feeling the heat warming into my body through my back. I guess this is Koreans’ secret to stay healthy! Since we stayed for two nights, we had enough time to visit all the major attractions (and great restaurants and cafes!) without feeling rushed. I especially enjoyed walking around the old town late at night or early in the morning, when the day-trippers were gone and it seemed that you had Jeonju all to yourself! The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. They let me store my giant suitcase after check out and when I came back to pick it up, they'd put together a lunch bag filled with snacks for my train ride. Such a sweet couple.

Bellissima sistemazione in una classica abitazione Hanok. Camera semplice, pulita, con letto futon. Proprietario molto gentile, siamo riusciti a comunicare con un inglese base. Per trovare l'entrata, è necessario percorrere un intero vialetto che sembra privato. NaverMap porta comunque all'entrata principale, facilmente individuabile facendo un confronto con le foto di Booking.

The accommodation thoughtfully provides a complimentary 10cm-thick foldable mattress to ensure extra comfort and support, which made our stay very enjoyable. The host sent all the necessary information to my contact before check-in, and although they were not staying on-site, they were always responsive and quick to resolve any questions or inconveniences. The location is unbeatable—right in Hanok Village, with all the major heritage sites within a 2-minute walking distance.
