The rooms are located in a lush, green garden with coconut trees, squirrels and an overall really calm ambiance. Whilst the street outside is busy, the area of the hotel is nice and quiet. I stayed in a room without a balcony, but the manager Kiki showed me a room with balcony which had a great view over the family djungel. My room was clean, free of any smell and had a nice bathroom. I had everything I needed. There’s also a cute kitchen where you can cook if you like. The location is only three minutes walk to the Yoga Barn, an amazing place in Ubud that offers many classes and workshops. The hotel is therefore an excellent place for yogis to stay, but also for anyone looking for a genuine, family owned and beautiful place to stay. The communication with the hotel manager was faultless, always with quick answers. I had an amazing conversation with Kiki upon checkout, and she is just such a sweetheart and told me the story of the family hotel and the surroundings. I left Mandala Homestay with a rested body, fueled soul and abundant heart. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Ubud✨

We came back & extended our stay 5 times because you will not find the more perfect place. It’s in an amazing Balinese village, around you have beautiful rice fields, very quiet & calm, beautiful clean rooms, super refreshing and clean pool, THE BEST BREAKFAST & most wonderful people there! It was new and clean. Owner was very kind and accommodating, even provided us with location to local vegetable market and other things. Staff was friendly and I’d say one of the best I’ve experienced in Bali so far. Internet was 100mbps, very stable. I had no issues with it. We stayed in the bottom floor room. It was very quiet during the night. If you are renting a scooter, considering using Monkey Forest bypass road. Just make sure you are a confident driver because it can be a bit tight with 2way traffic
