My stay with Ika and Egi was one of the best experiences through all my travels in Indonesia. They created a beautiful place that looks like a dream and feels like home at the same time. We spent four days with them and we talked, we cooked, we signed, we laughed and we learned a lot. My heart is so full after being with them, I can only feel grateful to had the opportunity to find this place and experience it. It has genuinely been the greatest experience in all of my travels in Indonesia because of the people. The place is owned and driven by a family who will welcome you. They don’t just want your money, they want to get to know you and are genuine. And you should get a guide from there because he will invite you to see many local places, knows so much about agriculture and everything. It is 100% worth the money.

I separated from my friends for a few days while they went to the Gilis. I booked here instead - and I really found a peaceful space to spend time alone, somewhere to come back to that felt safe and welcoming. The family, Erwin and Suzi are so wonderful and will take care of you.. Suzi's cooking is amazing I can recommend this quiet nook confidently.. it's also located right by the waterfall

All the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for me and my family. Riz, Illa, Onnie and Sukry are great hosts! Their motto is ‘come as a guest and leave as family’, this was definitely the case. The locals are lovely too! The food is amazing! Aunty Atty rocks! The property is fairly new which meant the amenities were excellent. Highly recommended, just book it.

We had an excellent first experience in Tetebatu at Jonnys Place. Beautiful environment and fantastic trip in the morning with Mr. Ari and Mr Omar to see rice terraces, monkey forest and more things. Local people and Jonnys family the best, really nice and kind.

The stay in Tetebatu was my first ever experience of Indonesia and, wow! - was I absolutely smitten with its simplicity and beauty. The price of accommodation is so minuscle that it only makes sense to support homestay owners by joining on their local tours. After all, they offer not just their time, but their valuable local experience. Walk with them the rice fields, see and hear about the agriculture, jump into the cave waterfalls, watch the local ladies weave sarongs and make clay pottery, drive to the local market and ask your hosts to explain the local foods. If you are not the hike-or-die type, ask your hosts to bring you up to the foothills of Rinjani - and breathe in silence... I've seen and felt in a week more than I would do in two months back home. Also, very important!, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe with my hosts. I felt protected, respected and genuinely understood.

We had such a wonderful stay. The family is absolutely lovely, always welcoming us with big smiles and open hearts. One of the highlights of our stay was cooking dinner together each evening. Sharing stories and laughter in their kitchen made us feel like part of the family. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully simple, with a private little terrace overlooking the rice fields. Watching the sunrise from the room was pure magic. We joined the rice field day tour with Ossy, and we can’t recommend it enough! He is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate guide. We learned so much about local farming, traditions, and the surrounding nature. This place has such a warm and authentic atmosphere. We left with full hearts and new friends and a new favorite place: TETEBATU. Thank you for everything! 🙏🌾✨
