The place was amazing. Such a cute homely homestay. The rooms were very spacious, and the hosts were very accommodating with booking tours and gave good recommendations of what to do with my time there. The food was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

The room was amazing and very neat. It looked like a proper hotel room but at the same time the place had the welcoming ambiance of a homestay due to its lovely owners. They made a breakfast which was the best we have had! So definitely 10/10 recommend!

He collected us from our previous accommodation in Trincomalee at a fair price, organised an excellent guide for the next day, and when he heard we were keen to try new food he provided amazing Sri Lankan style food for breakfast and dinner.

we had a wonderful stay. Our hosts, Mapa and Kanesh, were welcoming, generous, and spent time talking and laughing with us. Mapa is a wonderful guide and took us to many places with wonderful explanations, truly enriching our experience! Kanesh is an amazing cook, and the food was delicious. The entire place is spotless, the room was very comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at Sandakada Homestay in Anuradhapura. The room was very comfortable and well-kept, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The hosts, who are the owners of the property, were extremely kind and welcoming, and they even kindly helped us a lot in making the poojawa, which we truly appreciated. One of the highlights of the stay was the food, the delicious homemade meals gave us a real taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The garden is also beautiful and adds a peaceful atmosphere to the homestay. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would happily recommend Sandakada Homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura.
