Homestays in Bora Bora

This is a wonderfully quirky, artistic place to stay. Don't expect perfection but expect a jewel in the crown for individuality, creative expression and original art of the owner. The location is serene with magnificent views (you will need a bicycle to get into town which are provided). The villa is also only a 15 minute cycle to Matira Beach which is definitely the best beach on the island. The Meastro's Suite is effectively a fully contained apartment in a mock Italianate villa; worth paying the difference for this space. We felt like we had drifted away to another era staying at Villa Yrondi. A stark contrast from our stay at one of the excessively priced international chains in Bora Bora. If you are going to Bora Bora to spend a fortune on an above-the-water villa; take some time to think about also staying on the main island in a place with individuality and charm and which is much more wallet freindly. It was actually blissful to have no TV but obviously there was wifi access. If you want screen time, do your downloads and take your own device. We certainly didn't need it in a space this peaceful with such wonderful surroundings. Exceptional. Thank you Valerie for your kindness.

There are 3 houses, all of them are the same. We stayed at Lokai House 2. This place is all you need, it comes with all you need! Full kitchen, private bathroom, private parking, nice front yard and terrace, AC, bikes to rent, is very safe, quiet and you have a privacy! It was a blast for our family with two small boys! It’s rainy season, but no mosquitos at this place! You probably need a car, but it’s walkable to the ferry and supermarket. By car everything is close and you can move fast to the points of interest anywhere on the island. The owner and his family are welcoming and responded to our messages almost instantly. We will definitely stay here again, is the perfect place to explore Bora Bora!

The view & location; i could see the beautiful mountain of Bora Bora through one of the windows and the lagoon through another window. It makes a difference that when you wake up you get the ocean breeze and look through the window and see the wonderful view of the mountain. On the other hand, the location is great; it is very close to the white sandy beach of Matira. Also the host is friendly and super helpful.

Wonderful, clean, nice, place. Everything what you will needed for a relaxing holiday you will find it. Breakfast is marvelous, delicious, for the start of the day. I had wonderful 5 days of my stay in that magnificent paradise island. Thank you for Lanie for everything and God bless you !

Everything was superb and the hosts arranged all excursions and transport. Food was fabulously. Felt like being part of a family@
