The host is so friendly and helpful. She gave me lots of useful information and advice. She even recommended it was my birthday and gave me a gift! We stayed at Lisas for a total of 5 nights in the Familienzimmer. It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!

The views from our room and the kitchen and patio were incredible! The room was very spacious, large bed, separate seating area and the whole place was impeccably clean. We have been travelling for over 2 months staying in accommodation every 1-2 days and I can say this is in my top 2 places to stay. Absolutely loved it.

The location was beautiful with a great view of the mountains and pleasant outdoor sitting areas in lovely gardens. The breakfast was beyond plentiful, varied, and delicious. If on foot, a bit too far and uphill for getting there from the train station with luggage, but a nice walk to and from town for sightseeing. Small fridge and teas available for snacking.

Our hosts, Helen and Manfred were warm and welcoming. Renata and Sanja looked after us really well. The rooms were well appointed. Manfred’s micro-brewed beers were delicious. Great location in the village.
