I departured at early morning, which is earlier than breakfast time. However, the host prepared a bag of food in advance. It is really nice.

Overlooking Lake Lucerne and the Alps, this guesthouse in Meggen is just 6 km from Lucerne and offers free Wi-Fi. The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. Received a free upgrade to a room with an evening view of the sunset on the mountains. The room was huge! Bed was comfy and held multiple pillows. Robert was very conscientious and remembered our breakfast order every day. Easy transport into Luzern. Would highly recommend staying here.
