We had an unforgettable stay at this guest house. Their small team is incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, creating a warm, community-like atmosphere. We enjoyed participating in the art and craft session and the dumpling-making experience—both were so much fun! They even kindly dropped us off at the Great Wall and picked us up when we were finished. The food was exceptional, made with fresh ingredients, and they even serve specialty coffee like lattes, which was a delightful bonus. Keep in mind that the guest house is in a rural area, and the rooms are simple, but staying here was definitely the best decision. Our daughter was so sad to leave and keeps asking when we can return! 😅

A 15 km da Grande Muraglia Cinese - Simatai, Jinshanling Gubeikou Great Wall聚友缘民宿 offre una sala comune, una terrazza e alloggi climatizzati provvisti di patio e WiFi gratuito. the stay exceeded my expectations. both hosts are welcoming, enthusiastic, and down to earth. when we arrived, we discussed our travel plans with the hosts and they gave us plenty of helpful suggestions and even offered driving service. after exploring jinshanling the next day, the host picked us up, gave us a quick tour around gubeikou town, sharing the beauty and history of the town, then sent us to the train station. breakfast was authentic and delicious (loved the soy milk, 油炸饼, and 疙瘩汤). overall, this was a wonderful start to our beijing trip, with comfy place, thoughtful hosts, and beautiful surroundings. highly recommend staying here. 10/10.

I honestly loved everything there. It was such a lovely stay. Sue and Jack (the owners) are incredible friendly and so so helpful with everything. They picked me up from the trainstation and made me feel like home. They both cooked incredible good dinner and breakfast every day too. Organized for me to get to the great wall and picked me up again. It was very very nice and I will definitely come back one day!

The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We would recommend this stay for people who are backpacking or only need a few nights stay. There are washing machines and a tumble dryer on site which is very useful and the staff will take out the washing for you if you go out for the day. The location is a big plus point to this hotel with Lamas temple a short walk away, restaurants, coffee shops, casual bars and a metro stop. There is facilities to make up some easy food if you wanted to. The room itself is a satisfactory size.
