This was definitely the warmest stay of our trip. Not only because of the property, but also the incredible hospitality. We really enjoyed chatting with Koko and hanging out with all of her adorable pets. We even had dinner with Koko and it was really enjoyable. The property is comfortable and clean. The gardens are very refreshing and with a nice view. If you’re coming to Chengdu, do yourself a favor and book a stay in Koko’s place.

Menawarkan taman, restoran dan pemandangan gunung, Qingcheng Mountain Huakai Shiminsu terletak di Dujiangyan, 3.6km dari Gunung Qingcheng. This property is beautifully designed with clean, simple and functional rooms. The double bedrooms have a balcony whereas the twin rooms have very big windows and face the road. The property is decorated with a lot of plants and fresh flowers and the air gets fresh towards the night time. All rooms have mosquito nets and repellent, since the whole dujiangyan area is full of mosquitoes. The family that manages the property is lovely. They do not speak a word of English but they even managed to help me with hiking trips suggestions and with a little issue I had with a taxi driver. They are very hospitable and cook Chinese breakfast every morning. Location is about 3.5y taxi from the center but very near Mt Quingcheng,hot spring &panda rescue center. So far the best budget hotel experience I’ve had in Sichuan!

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is just across the road from the Leshan Giant Buddha area's main entrance (free shuttle buses go from there to the actual site). You can get to the hotel by bus #3 (and other buses) from the main station. The room was spacious, simple but clean and comfortable with a touch of design. The old man at the reception was very helpful, through a translator app he explained a lot of useful things. (Like how to visit Emeishan.) Great place, I liked it much!
