The location is perfect if you want to break the trip between San Josè and the Caribbean Coast. Anita was super kind and helpful, and our toddler girl loved all the attention, peluche animals and the giant sloth she could have breakfast with. Thanks, Anita!!

This is a lovely place with a private deck on the ocean. It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

Amazing location right in the forest, but close to the road and walking distance to beautiful beach. The house had everything you needed. We were able to see many animals from our terrace. Amazing! Would definitely come back.

The staff is always here looking to help you and make your stay memorable, they were so generous, humble and friendly ! Near to the bus station, the natural park and a lot of coffee, restaurants. The room was clean, the kitchen well-equipped and spacious, and the common areas were cozy and comfortable. We appreciated also the company of the 2 doggies and each details (free coffee in the morning, lovely cleaning lady every day, access to the pool and some board game and books available)

Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

Very organic, relaxing vibes, great and helpful owner 😊 you can get easily by local buses to Cahuita, Porto viejo, Manzanillo etc. or visit cacao museum on the other side of the road. We really love the whole location.
