The air conditioning worked perfectly, and even the shared bathroom was large and very convenient. Paul also offered rides anywhere I wanted to go for a small fee and provided delicious breakfast and dinner. I especially appreciated being able to do my laundry during my stay. Everything was easy, comfortable, and welcoming — I couldn’t have wished for a better experience.

The room itself was simple and authentic but clean and we felt well taken care of. What made it special was definitely the people and community you get to stay in. From the sevu sevu offering to the chief, to wonderful day trips snorkelling and diving and sitting together in the evening with some kava and songs, it was an incredible experience. Joji and Alisi will take perfect care of you, as will everyone in the village for that matter.
