Firstly, wonderful view over the sea, hills and neighborhood from the room, and especially from the roof terrace. Secondly, all the helpful staff, and especially Maria, who gave a lot recommendations for each day, helped us with laundry, with health issues, etc. Room was spacious and clean, with an electric kettle, supplemented with water bottles daily. They have separate higher-quality water supply. We enjoyed personalized breakfast with fresh juices from mango growing in the plot.

I love the people working there and the owners. It's very clean and quiet, also a great breakfast. They help you with anything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer and hope to be back again.

All units at the homestay are fitted with a seating area. Every unit is fitted with a private bathroom, a safety deposit box and free WiFi, while certain rooms have a balcony and some have inner courtyard views. At the homestay, each unit includes bed linen and towels. The location of this property was perfect as we rented bikes through the hotel and we rode to the other side of the island every night, and the owner always was willing to lend a helping hand when parking the bikes 🫶 The breakfast was delicious and prepared quickly with fresh fruits everyday. The owner/host was lovely, he greeted us everyday and asked of our plans so he could give advice on them and help us book a boat tour! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

This guest house offers free private parking and full-day security. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. I stayed at Tatasya Homestay in Senaru and they were incredible from start to finish. They helped me plan and execute my Mount Rinjani trek and made everything smooth and stress-free. They held my bags while I hiked, arranged a car ride to Kuta after my trek, and even welcomed me back with fresh coconuts. After the hike, they let me shower and rest in a room before heading out, which was such a blessing after three days in the mountains. The hospitality here is top-notch, super warm, helpful, and kind people. That alone makes this place worth staying at. One small downside was that they didn’t mention the hot springs wouldn’t be hot because the lake was too high during rainy season. Also, I did the 3-day/2-night trek, and while it was beautiful, it was pretty brutal. On the second day, you summit at sunrise, hike down to the lake, then up the other side of the crater, it’s a really tough push. I’m not sure the extra day is worth it unless you’re super set on seeing the lake. If you're looking for value and a challenging but more manageable hike, the 2-day/1-night trek might be the better choice. Overall though, I 100% recommend Tatasya Homestay if you're heading to Rinjani. They took such good care of me, and I’m grateful for everything they did.

Boasting a garden and views of river, Stay Together is a recently renovated homestay situated in Tetebatu, 13 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest. Quite genuinely, never have we met such beautiful hosts and had such delicious food. The owners are the most hospitable, kind and funny people. The room was stunning. Incredible facilities. Beautiful location

At the homestay, all units come with a desk. There is a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer in each unit, along with free toiletries. At the homestay, the units come with bed linen and towels. Very cozy bungalow with a small patio that overlooks the fields and green nature. Perfect to relax a little. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very big. Hot water, although it was a little hard to control (but still better than most I had, where only cold water is available). Breakfast and other food you order is brought to you to the bungalow. Easy communication via whatsapp.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The homestay features mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. The most authentic accommodation we had on our 5 month travel through south east asia so far. Nip and Awan just opened in April 2024 and have two very nice bungalows/huts surrounded by nature, which were just build in December 2023. So everything is new and looks amazing. We stayed in the wooden hut which was so nice because the walls let air in the room and so it was always a comfortable temperature, even without an AC. The room is also equipped with a mosquito net but that was generally not a big problem. But the best thing about this accommodation is definitely the lovely hosting family, who made us feel very welcome right from the start. They organized the Rinjani Trekking for us for a very good price and know a lot about the area there, as Nip used to be a guide at Mt. Rinjani. They also provide breakfast and dinner, as there is no restaurant nearby. So I would recommend you to have a scooter there to explore the environment around the homestay (e.g. the waterfalls in Senaru). It's worth getting up early and admiring the sunrise from the terrace. We are very happy to have stayed at this place and have got to know this lovely people there. We‘ll come back!!

Semporonan Waterfall is 11 km from the homestay and Benang Kelambu Waterfall is 18 km away. Edi and his family are amazing! Everything was so nice! He took care of me and my friend. Provided for Everything we needed and asked for. Massage, manicure & pedicure, waterfal, ricefield, local delicacy special request snails from the ricefields 😋😋😋, ricewine, cacao, ATM, laundry, special souvenirs, music every night, scooter, .... just ask for it and you get it! And for a reasonable price! The mattrass was the most comfortable i have had in Indonesia. Food was great. Always with complimentary fruits and water. I had an amazing time at Dira bungalow. I just came back from Rinjani and it was very convenient to have only 2 steps between my room and the restaurant! As my legs were killing me 😆!
