We loved our stay here, extended from originally planned 4 to 6 nights as just everything fits. Shared bathrooms 2 for 5 rooms were cleaned daily, you get fresh coffee 24/7 , can even use a common kitchen for minor preparations, fridge, cheap and good scooter rent, amazing breakfasts (try Manado porridge!) Rico is such a lovely host, very welcoming and a great source of information. If there is anything inyour mind, don't hesitate to ask. He tries to make everything possible. Sunset Guest House & Bar se află pe malul mării în Bunaken și are un bar și o zonă de plajă privată. this homestay was really really nice. the food 3x a day (7-9am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm) is soooo good. best food i had in indonesia, and different meals each time. Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Renny and her son are super good host & made our stay perfect. Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. The homestay is super clean with great space & bed. I highly recommend this place that is a gateway at the door of Tangkoko park Thank you for all Renny & Ino 🙌

The family of the homestay are lovely and treat you like part of the family straight away. The food was excellent and plentiful. Not only did they cater to vegetarian and vegan diets easily, the food was delicious and a highlight of our stay. For the room, it was small but adequate with a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress. The bathroom was nice with a good pressure cool shower and flushing toilet. Aircon worked great.and was a nice treat. Ken's homestay was the place to be in the evening with live music being played by various talents from across the village. It's a fun and friendly vibe. Some nights are more lively than others which was a nice mix for us. If you are a light sleeper or go to bed early bring earplugs and it is fine. The mornings are nice and quiet and you can wake up to the sound of the waves. You can't even hear the church or the mosque! We went on two snorkelling tours and both were great ways to see other amazing snorkelling spots and we even visited the village on Manado Tua. Good value too. We extended our stay by two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak!

Everything is spotless clean. Meals are included and very tasty with lots of variation. The accommodation lies a bit secluded, but perfect for a couple of days of relaxing. The dive school is just across the street. You can also learn about pearl cultivation, a nice tour is offered. Last but not least, the staff is very friendly and will make your stay as comfortable as possible. They can arrange transportation to your next destination. All in all: a perfect place to stay if you don’t want to cross to Lembeh island.

My stay at The Queen's Guest House was pleasant. The accommodation was very comfortable, with great amenities and a great view of nature. Yuli and Mehdi are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. I had some amazing dives, and the professional instructors made the experience even better. I also enjoyed making friends and having fun conversations with other guests at the bar. To top it off, the food at the restaurant was amazing. Both the local and international options were very delicious. Can't wait to come back!

My homestay hostess Aci prepared wonderful meals that were well balanced and portions were plentiful. She spoke superb English and was instrumental in securing opportunities for snorkeling trips and all the necessary equipment which was my intended focus. The neighborhood where her homestay house is located provided a true Bunaken Island village experience. Bunaken Marine Park and boat access is right in the back yard as the property is on the water.

The room had an amazing view overlooking the beach and ocean. The room was very spacious, had a big bed and a very good fan that definitely cooled the room down enough. The bathroom was simple but worked perfectly and had everything you needed. Mama Lis was the kindest, most caring woman, always looking over my needs, cooking amazing dishes with a lot of variety and always had a very big smile on her face. I felt at home there and would have stayed even longer if I could have. If you want to have breakfast every day overlooking the ocean and the best host I would definitely recommend staying here.

The twin room is beachfront while the double room is streetside. I recommend beachfront, of course, it has a better view but also less noise from the roosters that are across the street. The double room has more indoor space, and big outdoor sofa bench, if that's what you need. It's right in the kampung village, so it's absolutely susceptible to more noise and activity; but it's also closer to the main pier and other restaurants. Lucky is a fantastic host, and the family puts a lot of care into the homestay. It's simple but very clean and cozy. There's many small thoughtful things about the place, it's an easy place to stay. The food is different every day, and it's easy to ask if you do/don't like something. Communication is very clear and prompt. The reef out front is a long swim before you see anything, but it's nearly the same with other places.
