A 2 km da Tempio di Mahabodhi, shangrila stay mette a disposizione sistemazioni con una sala comune, una terrazza e una cucina in comune, che fa sempre comodo. Everything!! This was my favorite stay in India. We made a slight upgrade when arriving to the property for a nicer view. The location was great, we were provided amazing recommendations, even a last minute tour guide (that met us at our location when our tour guide didn’t show. We felt like family and like we were taken care of, looked after, with genuine kindness. The property was clean, smelled nice, no issues with mold (it’s frequent in India). Don’t bother looking at other properties, this is the one!

Firstly , I like the behavior of the owner (Mrs. S. Gupta). I have booked for two rooms for my family trip to Bodhgaya which I found to be clean and affordable as homestay. The location is the main advantage of this homestay which is 5 mins walking distance from Mahabodhi Temple. Also I loved their washroom and balcony of the building. This is ideal place for those people who love peaceful environment.

A 3,3 km da Tempio di Mahabodhi, Marina Home Stay offre una sala comune e alloggi con terrazza. This hotel is located in a very calm and peaceful surrounding, so I could relax well (since the Main Street is very noisy and busy haha). Taking a walk in the morning through the village was also amazing experience. The host was very kind and careful, always asked me if I need any help. I will come back soon!! ;)

We arrived in Gaya on the train after 3am. Sumit the owner waited for us to arrive and helped us navigate with our tuk tuk driver from the station. The location is walking distance to restaurants and temples. Room was.perfectly clean, and the AC was great! I would recommend for single travelers or couples. If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.

The Gupta Guest House si trova a Bodh Gaya, a 700 metri da Tempio di Mahabodhi e 500 metri da Bodh Gaya Bus Station. Struttura in ottima posizione e personale molto gentile. Pulizia ok. Ottima colazione inclusa al ristorante della guesthouse, si può scegliere ciò che si vuole!

A 2,6 km da Tempio di Mahabodhi, Ansari House mette a disposizione sistemazioni con un giardino, una terrazza e una reception 24 ore su 24, che fa sempre comodo. È la casa di una famiglia favolosa! Se avete bisogno di qualcosa chiedete liberamente, vi aiuteranno senza problemi. Mi sono rimasti nel cuore!
