It was a brief overnight stay to catch a flight the next day and honestly we wish we had more time! Nisarg and his wife are welcoming hosts. The room is super big and we loved the patio access too. And the gym! As gym goers we were grateful to squeeze in a workout before our flight. The surrounding area is residential and we were met with smiles and waves from all the locals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Sharad Baug homestay was absolutely wonderful starting with the lovely and kind Trishulini who greeted us and gave us breakfast after a long bus journey. The room was impeccable with its own veranda complete with very cool antique furniture. Surrounded by garden and then fields it is a peaceful oasis with birdsong. The food was delicious, the atmosphere of the dining hall felt like stepping back in time and a stroll through the palace grounds spoke of the history of another time. You can easily walk into town or grab a tuk tuk to visit temples and the market. This homestay was my favourite stay of my trip and I highly recommend you give it a try.
