Situato a Calcutta, a 7,8 km da Stazione metro Dumdum, Laxmi Niwas, Salt Lake, Kolkata, 10mins from Sector 5 offre una vista sulla città. A very comfortable room with A/C and great facilities. It also has a smart tv which I found very useful for the evenings. You also have use of a fridge and a kitchen area. The hosts are lovely and really helpful. There is a metro station a short walk away which I was using to explore the city. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in Kolkata.

Tutto pulito, siamo stati lì per due notti intervallate da una notte altrove e abbiamo trovato le lenzuola cambiate. Ovviamente si tratta di una homestay e quindi il giudizio è relativo alla tipologia di struttura, le camere sono basiche così come la colazione. Dovevamo prendere il treno per Darjieling e la posizione è ottima, a metà strada tra l'aeroporto di Bagdogra e la stazione dei treni.

It was a beautiful experience to spend some time with such warmhearted people. Jasmine ji was too good and too jovial. It felt like home to be honest. We got to attend a local dusshera mela as well and the entire trip was a 10/10.

A 12 km da Tiger Hill, Grand Casa annexe offre un barbecue e alloggi dotati di patio e WiFi gratuito. I stayed at Grand Casa for a day and honestly the stay was brilliant. If you’re looking for some peace and isolation, this is the place. The only thing is it’s a bit away from Mall Road, but trust me it’s totally worth it. They serve proper homely food and it was super tasty. I was lucky the weather was clear and I got the full view of Kanchenjunga right from the balcony. The room was also really spacious. Definitely a memorable stay.

The bathroom was super clean. Parking is made available in front of the guest house. It's a great option who come by car from south bengal to visit darjeeling and nearby. A good place for a night stopover.
