Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Dinner and breakfast was present free of charge. The staff was very helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised how spacious they were, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was incredibly kind, he suggested the best places to eat and buy locally produced lemon pastries, and when we were leaving, he brought his cat, Tiger, and waved goodbye to us. As we were on a three-day bike trip and only had our small backpacks with us, we loved the fact that everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, etc. In each room there were even a couple of bottles of water and everything for making tea and coffee. In the common spaces there was a microwave, guidebooks, manga books, and a wall full of Toso Maps of the Shimanami Kaido trail. We will definitely book Bed&Cafe Onzo again next time we bike the Shimanami Kaido!

Tutte climatizzate, le camere hanno la vista mare e sono dotate di una scrivania e WiFi gratuito. stayed in a twin room and it was super comfy with a great view! All the amenities were spot on, and even the shared bathroom was really clean. Koji was super helpful too. The island is beautiful and really well set up for tourists had an awesome time!

Absolutely loved our stay here - felt very luxurious with some nice touches like heated floor tiles and automatic toilet lid opening! There’s also plenty of room and a gorgeous view to the river.

It was a great experience to stay at Minpaku Yorozuya. It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

Struttura molto curata e tradizionale, molto pulita e spaziosa, il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato gentile e disponibile. L’hotel ha una stanza sola, quindi avevamo a disposizione tutta la struttura! Il bagno è al piano di sotto ma non era affatto un disturbo vista la particolarità del luogo

I’ve had a great time at the property, all the amenities were new, the bed was really comfortable, and you could really see that this house was renovated with great care and atention to detail.

Really great experience, the host is lovely and drove us to the nearby onsen after a day of cycling. You relaly get the warm homy feel. We would definitly come back !
