We loved every second of our stay at IKOI in Yanagawa. The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

The common area and the room are very pleasant! My sister and I had our own room with two beds. We shared the bathroom with 2 other women, which was no problem at all! We will definitely recommend this accommodation to others. There is very pleasant air conditioning in the room and the view from the room is a dream!!!
