Situato in una posizione ideale, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dall'iconico Tempio Kiyomizu-dera. La Guesthouse Soi propone varie sistemazioni, tra cui camere private in stile giapponese e dormitori. Tranquil environment but still within good reach of the public transport. Easy to wander the east side of the city. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse itself was very cosy and authentic.

Kevin who's managing the reception was extremely kind and helpful! The price was also reasonable for the date that I booked. The street that the hotel is on is very nice with a small stream and trees going through the middle. The shower in the room was nice, but if you have a few nights there I recommend to also try the sento (public bath) that is just a few houses away. There's also a single electric stove and a sink in the room and you can take a clean pot or pan from the reception amenities if you want to cook. I haven't used it so I'm not sure how usable it is, there doesn't seem to be much of a cutting and prep space, maybe you can use the desk in the other side of the room.

La stanza è bella, spaziosa e ben organizzata. Ci hanno cambiato gli asciugamani tutti i giorni e insistito per portare loro in stanza i nostri bagagli. La consiglio assolutamente per un giorno a kyoto anche di più notti. Unico suggerimento: sarebbe più confortevole poter oscurare le finestre vicino al letto.

Posizionato a 1 km da Stazione di Gion Shijo e 1,1 km da Tempio di Kiyomizu-dera, 東山の宿 藤屋 mette a disposizione camere con aria condizionata e bagno in comune, a Kyoto. Linda was keen to show us how the appliances worked, her restaurant recommendations, and the events during our stay. She could not be nicer !

Situato a 700 metri da Tempio Shoren-in e 1,2 km da Teatro Samurai Kembu, Azukiya prevede camere con aria condizionata e bagno a uso esclusivo, a Kyoto. Staying there was a delight The room looked exactly like on the pictures except it felt bigger and really cosy. The bathroom was perfect, very clean and honestly quite spacious when compared to other accommodations in Japan. It really felt like having a traditional Japanese room but with all the comfort of modern times. We were also worried to be cold coming in November but the place had definitely enough heating to keep the room warm if needed. Breakfast, japanese or western style (still with a Japanese touch) was delicious, very filling and everytime different. The location was overall very nice as the subway station is mere minutes away and Gion area isn't too far while other areas north of Kyoto are also in walkable distance. Kitamura-san was just the cherry on the cake as she was extremely helpful, welcoming and caring. It felt wrong to leave the place.

Besides the incredible breakfast, we were served every afternoon a nice tea with a sweet note that made you feel extra special! Thank you Kayoko for making this such a special stay in Kyoto for us!

遥華-Haruka House si trova in una posizione privilegiata a Kyoto e presenta un giardino, il WiFi gratuito e una terrazza. L’ospitalità di Haruka e Ryo è impareggiabile, ci siamo sentiti veramente accolti. Il primo giorno ci hanno suggerito itinerari, luoghi di interesse e ristoranti vicini alla struttura. La posizione è eccellente e vicinissima a varie stazioni, rendendo gli spostamenti molto agevoli. La stanza è accogliente e dotata di ogni comfort. Se torneremo a Kyoto cercheremo sicuramente di tornarci.
