Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. The staff is wonderful, super helpful and kind. Always giving nice recommendations and really helpful information on how to go around Kyoto and the best gems to visit. The breakfast was also very nice and the stay overall was excellent. Everything organised, clean, rooms were spacious and each of them have lockers enough spacious to put your luggage.

I love this place since its very clean, the room is large and the owner, Kevin is so nice. Our communication is very smooth and he replied our concern quickly. I love the big window in my room as well :)

Linda was keen to show us how the appliances worked, her restaurant recommendations, and the events during our stay. She could not be nicer !

Everything, from the kindness of the host to the atmosphere. The little garden behind the room was amazing and relaxing. We had to spend time in the room because of the weather so it was amazing to feel at home. There was the chance to rent the bike from the host (normal and electric ones) and it was beautiful to visit Kyoto in a different way.

The breakfast every morning was delicious. The host Kayoko is an amazing person. Her warm welcome and hostpitiy made our stay truly enjoyable. Really appreciate this wonderful experience.

Super clean, nice location, staff is super kind and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was super good (both the western and japanese one) and each food was prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

Super clean, check in/out process was easy, no doubt on the security, the location is near to Kujo Kawaramachi bus stop, Tofukuji station and only approx 1.2km from Kyoto station. Reception is very informative.
