Ulala is an adorable guesthouse, and I recommend it a lot. The place is clean, the room is comfortable and you feel very safe. It is offered free slippers, free towels, and the bathroom is equipped with high-quality shampoo, hair mask, cleansing oil and hairdryer. Also, the owner is welcoming and makes you feel like home. She offered me a car ride in two instances, and helped me take my luggage to the bus station. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. it is located two minutes away from a Buddhist temple (Tokoji), which is worth visiting. Hagi is a beautiful, small coastal city with many interesting historical places, and the kindest people I met throughout my trip in Japan. You can do everything basically by walking but there’s also a cheap and nice bus system transportation that takes you to the main places faster.

Best of all was the host, however, who was very kind and helpful - even drove me to the doctor nearby. There's a cafe as well to have easy access to good food. A konbini is a short walk way, too.

We felt more like visiting a friend than staying at a guesthouse. The house was also beautiful, tastefully furnished and super clean. Thanks again, Keiko-san!

Lovely place in beautiful landscape, with big rooms and a well equipped kitchen. Also the owner is a nice and funny guy who really makes an effort to make his hostel something special.
