Link House is spotless, comfortable and has great bathrooms, but it is the warmth of Yumiko that made our short stay so welcoming. We were advised to stay in Fujiyoshida rather than Kawaguchiko. Wandering the town pre-dawn to catch the sunrise over Mt Fuji, we understood why. Charming, historic and quirky. Stay at Link House!

This place is an experience! Old place with plenty of history, situated very centrally on the main road of Fujiyoshida. We were told that, Mt. Fuji is even visible from the common room in clear weather. The shared toilet is very nice. The shared bathroom looked nice, which even had a small board tl reserve a timeslot. You book this place to experience a real old japanese house. Highly recommended!

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming house! The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure that every detail was perfect. The highlight of the experience was definitely the vegan dinner and breakfast – both were absolutely delicious! For dinner, we had a variety of flavorful dishes that were fresh, creative, and satisfying. The breakfast was equally impressive. The accommodation itself was cozy and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing vegan food.

The caretakers were terrific. They dropped off at the train station and onsen. One caretaker knows English well. They do laundry for you for a small fee; some rooms have a view of the Fuji. The hot bath in the facility is amazing—big rooms in Japanese style. Caretakers offered us bikes and umbrellas to protect us from the sun. Outstanding experience

Lovely guesthouse run by a small family in a quiet street of Fujikawaguchiko. The host is very hospitable and although he speaks little english, he is good with technology and will help you out wherever he can. He prepared a welcome snack and drink when you check in. The tatami room is clean and spacious and if you are lucky, comes with a view of Mt Fuji. The bathroom is traditional and has a bath which is prepared for you every night. The location is around 20min walk from the main train station and is close to local shops.

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests.
