The family that owns it are warm and welcoming, and well organized. Very easy to communicate. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Three meals a day are possible here, so being a little away from the city center is no problem. It is an easy tuk-tuk or motorbike ride into town, and Hidden Oasis has a motorbike available for rent.

They were accommodating and always willing to help. During our stay for 3 days and 2 nights, we were grateful for the free tour around the fish island. They also recommended some good places to eat and activities to do while in Kampot. The location was perfect for me because its not to near and not too far in the city center, I enjoyed the serene mornings and calm evenings. From our room we could overlook the view of the river and the city across us. Wishing we could stay a little longer.

Attentive owner always there to make guest feel comfortable. Nice rooms, especially in the second floor, with kind of a shared balcony hallway. Spotless rooms with dimmable night light. Enjoyed the possibility of renting good condition grandmother style one gear bicycles 1,25$/day to explore the surroundings. Onward travel bookable hassle free and free water refills. With this price it doesn’t get better than this. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent — it's within walking distance to Hippocampus statue and the river side Park.

This villa is sensational and having originally booked for 4 nights we kept extending as we were so comfortable and there was so much to discover in Kampot area. We would have stayed longer if we’d had more time available. Our host Meg was wonderful; readily available as she lives next door. Although there’s a great folder of info she was super helpful with other suggestions and great to chat to. We used tuk tuks for local transport and for day trips. Absolutely recommend 100%!

It is a really nice place to stay, one of the nicest places I have stayed at in 2 1/2 years of traveling. It is far off the main road so very peaceful and quiet with a beautiful green yard filled with trees and plants. The owner Eugene is welcoming and friendly and will make you laugh the whole time you are there. The rooms are modern and very comfortable with great AC and hot water. I had some of the best sleep of my long trip here.
