The room was cozy, the food was delicious, and the pool was exactly what we needed to relax. But the highlight was definitely our amazing host – so kind, helpful and always smiling. He really made us feel at home, and went above and beyond with every little request. We’ll always remember his warm energy – thank you so much! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. The rooms are new, clean, cozy and they have AC. The bathrooms are large and sparly clean. The family that owns the place are very friendly and helpful. The food they prepare is delicious. The lobby offers a generous space to relax and work. You can even enjoy the sight of crocodiles swimming or sunbathing in the river from the terrace above. I can’t recommend this place enough! We have enjoyed it

Place is located in Tissamaharama, maybe 2km of center but you have everything in for short stay. We spent 1 night before going to safari. Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence se află în Kataragama, la aproximativ 21 km de Situlpawwa și la 22 km de Tissa Wewa. Proprietatea oferă o grădină și WiFi gratuit, precum și parcare privată gratuită. This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

Lake Front Yala Safari se află în Kataragama, la 18 km de Tissa Wewa, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The hosts were very good and accommodating of all our requests. Room was very big and comfortable, and a great budget stay.

Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari se află în Tissamaharama, la 2,5 km de Tissa Wewa, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Gazde foarte amabile și drăguțe. Am fost încântați de primire și disponibilitatea de a furniza informații despre flora și fauna locală. Recomandări utile pentru safari. Am avut demipensiune iar mâncarea a fost delicioasă și cu porții mari.

Kethaka Aga are cazare în Tissamaharama, la aproximativ 3,7 km de Tissa Wewa și la 29 km de Rezervaţia Aviară Bundala. Kethaka Aga might have been the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. Not only was the room very comfortable, the rest of the house and garden (including garden/pool area) offered some nice places to relax as well. The staff was really nice and catered to all our needs, from doing our laundry till preparing a breakfast package at 4:30 AM to bring to our safari. Highly recommended!

Lake Face Cabana se găsește în Tissamaharama, la 4,5 km de Tissa Wewa, și oferă biciclete gratuite, o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. Staying at Lake Face Cabana was the highlight during our trip to Sri Lanka. The atmosphere at the location is peaceful and serene, and the lake view is gorgeous. The cabanas were a perfect fit for the scenery, and have been designed and built by the hosts themselves. They are very skillfully made, and with great taste. Same goes with their garden, which added to the magical experience. The family could as well be professional designers! During our stay we were visited by water birds, squirrels, a monitor lizard and a turtle. We were told there is also a (well-behaving) resident crocodile, who unfortunately had other commitments while we were at the property. :) The main attraction though were our hosts: Gayan, Dilushika (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) and their two adorable girls. What a beautiful, sweet family! As we got to know them a little bit, we became inspired by their kindness, curiosity and thrive. The couple were very considerate and attentive to our needs, and were always available for interesting conversations about life in Sri Lanka. Dilushika's cooking was fantastic, the breakfast especially was delicious and well worth the cost! Oh and be sure to ask for the safaris directly from the accommodation. Gayan's brother runs the best safari outfit in the area, and we had two perfect days in Yala and Bundala. For our next visit to Tissamaharama, there's no other accommodation option than Lake Face Cabana. Couldn't recommend it more! <3

Suduweli Beauties of Nature - Yala se află în Kirinda, la 2,1 km de Plaja Kirinda, și pune la dispoziție biciclete gratuite, o grădină și parcare privată gratuită. It was a very beautiful and peaceful place. Well located if you are visiting Yala national park. The place was very clean. We loved the common area. I would point out the hospitability of the hosts, Karen and Shanta were very attentive and lovely with us. 10/10 :)

Really clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel has beautiful garden and fabulous rice fields bordering on hotel garden. Hostess was very helpful, polite and nice. Best recommendations!
