Menawarkan pemandangan taman, Mulu D cave homestay di Mulu menawarkan penginapan, lounge berkongsi dan restoran. Our first stay prior to going to Mulu Pinnacles, we stayed in the 3 bed, fan room. It can get warm during the day. On our return we needed to rest out aching bodies and stayed in the Aircon 3 bed room. The beds are singles and can be put together for a double bed too. Aircon is new and works great. Each room has a clothes rack. Towels and toilet paper provided. Excellent Breakfast was provided every morning. Often Dina asked what we wanted so it was often different. Although banana crepes are their signature breakfast. Robert is from Mulu and it's great to see they have a business and survived after the tough COVID years. Too many foreigners go to Marriott and sadly there isn't enough support for the local businesses.

It is the perfect spot to explore Taman Nagara Santubong National Park, the Pamai Rainforest, and Bako National Park! Hosts Emily and Willis are wonderful — great recommendations, fun conversation, and free rides in the local area! The home stay itself is beautiful with birds and monkeys visible from the pool! Delicious free breakfast included and super cheap laundry services. Such a wonderful place… we can’t wait to return!!

Situated in Mulu, Mulu Village offers accommodation with a patio. The homestay offers a terrace. It is 2.4 km to Mulu National Park. The nearest airport is Mulu Airport, 2.6 km from Mulu Village. Brenda and James are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They will give amazing recommendations, and are accommodating (even when you need a last minute ride or forget to order breakfast the night before and show up right near the end...) The rooms do not have AC but the nights cool off and the fan was more than enough for us and I tend to run very warm. The location was perfect for us, it's a 30 minute walk to the park (or a quick ride) but it was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We ended up spending a morning reading on the covered porch because it was pouring rain. It was idyllic.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mulu Tribal Homestay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kindness and thoughtfulness of Denny and Salina made our stay very enjoyable. The local but adapted food is delicious. Our children loved swimming in the river just behind (soft sand). The location of the Mulu Tribal Homestay is very convenient. Right across from the airport and a 10-15 minute walk from the park entrance. Transportation is available on site.
