We enjoyed the accommodation, it was very quiet, windows overlooking the bay and outdoor seating right by the water. The accommodation is very tasteful and authentic and the owner is an amazing cook. She cooked us delicious local food, which was beautifully presented. Considering that it was the last destination before our departure, we enjoyed it very much. There is a shop and basic amenities in the village and to our surprise the shop had an excellent cafe with good coffee and a boutique, where locals meet in the morning. There are several treks in the area.

This place exceeded all my expectations. It was by far our favourite stay in Norway in a 2-week trip (and I almost didn't book it because we were going to Lofoten islands and Sortland was not really on our radar). + Let me start by saying that the owner was really friendly and kind. + The place is some kilometers away from Sortland, in a small village and a bit away from other houses. Behind it there is a ski run that follows a little stream where you can take a walk in the middle of nature, with mountains, close to the sea and surrounded by snow. + The studio is a very special place, more so for me because I studied Art History. Seeing all the lovely paintings and vintage pieces, sculptures, books, rugs, furniture... it is my dream home! I hope one day I can have such an amazing collection myself. + The lightning is also cozy and well thought. + We were lucky enough to arrive when there was a lot of snow, so the place was even more magical. I couldn't get tired of watching through the large windows to the garden covered in snow and the glasshouse. + The beds were very comfy and spacious. + Loved the floor heating on the bathroom :)

The moment you enter the room and see that view you know you've made the right decision. Remote little Hovden truly feels like the edge of the world. Tove was a great help in getting us settled. Don't miss the wonderful cafe nearby!

Had access to a shared kitchen, and a drying cabinet for clothes and wet gear! Hot cocoa machine! Bicycle storage. Dining room area to congregate. Beautiful views.

Arctic Ocean Lodge mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, lounge berkongsi dan teres di Skjolde. Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

This central Andenes accommodation overlooks the Norwegian Sea and harbour. Free WIFI and shop with local handicrafts is available on site. The units are located in 2 house by the sea. This place fit my needs perfectly. A quiet place close to the ferry station where I could spend the night before moving on the next morning. Basic facilities and good value. I would stay here again if passing through.
