Classic traditional hotel steps away from the Temples and cultural sites of Bhaktapur. The rooms are comfortable with good WiFi. This family owned gem is well worth the budget price. Highly recommend. I stayed here multiple times while traveling in Nepal.

Nirvana Kuti è situato a Kathmandu, a 2,5 km da Swayambhunath e 3,5 km da Tempio Swayambhunath. Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. A 200 metri da Piazza Durbar, Laxmi Homestay with main square view propone sistemazioni con una terrazza, un ristorante e il servizo in camera, che fa sempre comodo. I am a single solo woman traveller and Navin was so entousiastic that I stayed at his homestay. It is a nice family who make you feel so welcome in their house. I would like to experience the Nepalese way of life, and I did. I went with him on his morning prayers, ate the same as the family, went to see the Kathmandu Valley by scooter (everybody drives like They are crazy, but I felt very safe with Navin. And the best part is that he takes his guests to festiviteit/parties, also of his family. So I was invited to the celebration of his 6 months old nephew, who ate his First Rice. It was a party with more than 200 persons, eating and dancing. And They all liked it that I was there too, so nice. So blessed to experience this. Thank you Navin and your family, for these wonderful experience 😊

The location was exactly what I needed, a nice break from the bustling city and pollution. Trees and plants all around. And a beautiful sunset right from the terrace. Good food. Easy to get to Nagarkot with the local bus.
