Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! I bungalow sono ben fatti e ben arredati, con attenzione ai dettagli. Abbiamo parcheggiato le moto lì di fianco. L'acqua fresca in frigo è stata molto apprezzata. La colazione viene servita in camera e volendo si può consumarla sulla propria veranda, unico rammarico è che viene servita dopo le 8:30, per noi troppo tardi perché siamo partiti a quell'ora. Ci hanno comunque fornito tutto il necessario la sera prima. Non c'è ristorante, ma il paese è a pochi minuti d'auto. Ci hanno anche concesso un check in anticipato. Gentilissimi!!

Pias Guesthouse si trova a Pias e mette a disposizione la vista sulla città, biciclette gratuite, una piscina all’aperto stagionale, un giardino, una sala comune e una terrazza. This was a brilliant stop over in the small town of Pias. I don't think that I could have had a warmer welcome from the property owner. I was travelling by motorcycle and the garage parking for the bike was superb. I was shown around the property and made to feel at home, my room was just right for an overnight stay and the shower was really good and just what I needed after a long hot day on the bike. The property itself is lovely and full of old fashioned and beautifull furniture. There's a nice share living room with TV etc for relaxing and the place has everything you need, including an area to sit out in the properties garden. There isn't a great deal in Pias, I would say it's quite a rural place but the welcome, facilities and superb parking for my bike made this a great stop over on my travels and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it and use it again if I was travelling that way. Breakfast was first class as well - there is nothing at all about this place and the welcome from the owner that I can fault. It really is very good.
