Also the breakfast was astonishing, freshly prepared with ingredients from all over the area. It was one of the best breakfast I had during my trip. You can find love and history in it to start a good day. Also I had the privilage to meet the youngsters of the host and oh boy, what a surprise that was. I was 1 week far in my trip trough Slovenia and they are the nicest people I met over there. Super friendly, lots of information about the area. I was so prepared for the trip, they still could point me some hidden gems I could visit.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

Elizabeth is wonderful and we felt very welcome. The hotel is beautiful. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and always great.

Supermercato ben fornito a meno di 10 minuti di auto nel paese Luce. Consigliatissimo.

Ubicato a Luče, a 44 km da Fontana di Birra (Green Gold Fountain), Juvanova hiša - Apartments and Rooms propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una terrazza e massaggi. A very nice and helpful host. Probably the oldest house in the village, beautifully renovated, with many old artifacts (tools, photos, piece of clothing, shoes). We got a very large room, nicely furnished with old and new wooden furniture, a comfortable bed. A large, modern bathroom (bath tube and shower), with some old-style accents. A shared kitchen and a dining room are on the lower floor. You can also have your meal outside - there are some tables and chairs in a nice, quiet corner (expect some cats to visit you). The kitchen is well-equipped. You can prepare food there but there is also a nice, inexpensive restaurant 100m from the house (the grocery store is 50m away). No TV, no radio (what, actually, I appreciated) but a reliable Wi-Fi connection. Since it was really hot (30-35C), I was initially uneasy because of the lack of A/C. However, it turned out that the old house can keep a reasonably low temperature for most of the day. The village is not crowded with tourists. There are a few easier trekking paths one can take from there. You can easily (by car, by bus) reach mountain trails of any level of difficulty and length (e.g., starting from neighbouring villages or from Logarska Dolina).

Holiday chalet "ALPINE DREAMS" with PRIVATE WELLNESS offre comodi alloggi nella cornice di Solčava. Everything was just perfect. The most amazing view on the mountains from the house and the terrace. Chalet is private, located a little above. Alesh and his family were very friendly and helpful. House has everything we needed (grill, kitchenware, some cooking staff, towels, firewood).

Ambiente famigliare. Posto immerso in un verde magnifico. Cucina a chilometri zero, con prodotti ottimi, la maggior parte dei quali era autoprodotta. Un semplice canestro per giocare a basket, alcuni sentieri che partono da lì, vicino a Logar Valley.
