The owner picked me up at the ferry stop with his private boat, which is much easier than taking my bags and walking to the place (there's no transit options but your feet on Elephantine island) Very clear room. Great shower, great wifi, great AC. Elephantine island is very lovely, quiet and peaceful. Free homemade breakfast is lovely as well. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Obsługa bardzo miła i uczynna. W obiekcie znajduje się restauracja ze smacznym lokalnym jedzeniem w dobrej cenie. Wzięliśmy pokój ze śniadaniem, nie mogliśmy z niego skorzystać gdyż wyjeżdżaliśmy na wycieczkę do Abu Simbel i właściciel zaproponował iż przygotuje dla nas suchy prowiant. Zapewnił nam także bezpieczny przejazd na lotnisko w drodze powrotnej do Kairu.

In a region not renowned for backpacking, the owner of this hostel has managed to produce a diamond. The place has a real homely feel , largely thanks to the hostel guests, and the bed spaces are amongst the best I’ve experienced in 200+ hostel stays. Mattress and bedding extremely comfortable. Very spacious. Personal light and sockets. Easy access ladder to top bunk and privacy curtain. Nothing has been omitted.

It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).

High-light of Abu-Dhabi. I was staying there for the second time, and this time for almost a week, and it was a great pleasure. Room was super spacious, and bathroom as well. Other guests are just gold. So many nice people, and nice memories too. The smoking area and the chill are are the best. 10 minutes walk to the beach (but mind that you're not allowed to swim after 18:00) A lot of cheap fast food places with Indian, Egyptian, Pakistani and Afgani cuisine Omar organised a nice play at the beach, with voleyball, Uno and nice music, thank you! Some nice chill cats around as well. When another guest suffered from sun-burn, she was given medicine and taken to a nice place to eat.

I arrived late at night and the staff was super welcoming, helpful and really nice. The dormitory room is nicely arranged, has lockers, and the bed is super comfortable with a curtain for privacy. The location is really good, quite close to the beach. Also there is a supermarket nearby. The common areas are perfect for relaxation or even work. Really enjoyed my stay 🙂

Wi-Fi didn’t work for a day and he immediately called technician who fixed it on very next day based on the feedback. This was my 2nd trip and inshallah I shall go again in future only for the hospitality, cleanliness despite its far from haram. They also have family stays available, you can contact host. Nearby cheaper restaurants make this property worth.
