An excellent (paid for) breakfast. The location is close to the pedestrianised area of the town where all the bars and cafés are. Also close to the castle.

And the extra plus is for the staff , at the reception was super helpful and kind explaining everything about the city and even when I forgot half of my stuff after I left the city, they did their best to send it to me in the city that I was, and it worked!

This is more like staying in someone’s home than a typical hostel. The hosts are incredibly hospitable, thoughtful, helpful — and generous. They are what makes this place so special. The breakfasts are fabulous, and in addition to the traditional welcome beverage they fed me a wonderful lunch one day washed down with raki. You can also do laundry free of charge. The location is fine, but be warned that it is about a 15 minute walk to the tourist area. No problem at all for any healthy person, but it may not be the best for someone with limited mobility. On the plus side, that means it’s much quieter; it’s also a short walk from the bus station, but the last part is very steep. Again, no problem for me but it could be for someone else. Communication is a bit challenging but we managed; I will stay here again.

The location was perfect, easy walking distance to get to the main attractions in town and I was always able to park my car outside the front of the hostel. There was a big kitchen, lovely terrace and the owners were very friendly and helpful
