Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Travellers Paradise offers accommodation in a historical, heritage listed Guest House in Cairns, 1.2 km from Cairns Convention Centre. Third time staying here and it has always been a good experience!! All common areas and toilets seem to have been renovated recently, all clean, nice and tidy. Rooms are also clean and in a good size, I also like that they are all twin beds and not bunkers, so the rooms have plenty of space. Great location, across the road from a shopping mall with food court, cinema, pharmacy and supermarket that stay open to late. Walking distance from the CBD. Peter (I reckon he is the owner) was friendly and attentive, and accommodated my check in and check out times, allowing me to stay in the common areas hours after check out while waiting for my friends to pick me up. Would definitely recommend and come back!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were comfortable, the location is unbeatable (right by the waterfront!), and the staff were super friendly and helpful — especially the lovely girl at reception whose name I sadly forgot. One night, I had a bit of an issue with a guest who decided to play music loudly in the room around 11pm, then continued blasting it in the shower and corridors like it was a mini rave. He seemed drunk and inconsiderate. Thankfully, I reported it to reception and they were very supportive and handled it really well. Aside from that one guest (which obviously isn’t the hostel’s fault), I had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided. The bed was confortable and the room clean The people in the hostel was very friendly The receptionist very helpfully The pool was really nice for relaxing during the afternoon The localisation the hostel is close of mall and the esplanade is not far too

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City... The deluxe apartment was excellent, perfect for a 3 night stay for a family of 4. Good value for Cairns.
