I felt like I was part of a family from the very moment! Márcia is incredibly reliable and responsive. Any slightlest inconvenience was swiftly resolved and I had a great stay during carnival. The location is great to stay in Recife, I felt safe and going to both Olinda or other parts of Recife was very straightforward.

The breakfast and homemade meals were exceptionally good, and they did not lie with the name, this truly is paradise! I met very nice people, and even though there are no activities offered by the hostel, I never felt alone and a community formed fast :) There is a small dog, and he/she is well trained. The center is in 30 min walking distance, which is nice, because all tourists stay there and the beach in front of the hostel is empty :P. Loved every second of my stay!!

Very central location close to the bank, beaches, pubs, the fort, and everything you might need. I also really liked that with a small charge you could fill up your water bottle with clean filtered water as much as you needed to, which is so much better than having to buy plastic mineral water bottles. Katia was such a great host too; she made me feel very comfortable and at home.

This was really the perfect place for our stay in Olinda. The hostels location is perfect, but what's most important is that the hosts are very very kind.
