Amazing building (it was coffee bean storage in the 19th century) .Very nice beds ,not the simple ones but fancy. Amazing breakfast with health options .The cleanest toilet and shower with their own bio organic soap and shower gel. Cheerful personnel and very helpful.Totally recommended !!!

What truly stood out was the thick walls—finally, a hostel where you don’t hear everything through paper-thin dividers! It made a huge difference in sleep quality after a long journey. And the floor heating? A game-changer. That little touch made the space feel extra cozy, especially on colder days. Everything about my stay felt smooth and effortless, allowing me to just focus on enjoying Basel. If you’re looking for a place where you can rest properly, feel at ease, and trust that everything is well taken care of, this is it. Highly recommend!

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. Good location, near the train station. Confortable room. Clean bathrooms.

Το Basel Backpack στεγάζεται σε ένα ανακαινισμένο ιστορικό εργοστάσιο, μόλις 10 λεπτά από τον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό της Βασιλείας. I loved the vibe of the place - the bathroom feels like a little jungle. Good kitchen, lovely room with big windows and comfortable beds, washing machine, free public transport in Basel. I loved the people I met here. All in all a good stay.

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.

This is the perfect place if you are staying for a few days, and are out and about during the day and evening. Big room, high ceilings, very clean, good mattress and pillows, and linen. There is a new kitchen with all the amenities, even a coffee machine! New bathroom with shower, cleaned every day. Within easy walk of the main train station and trams/bus.
