Very friendly staff who made me feel welcomed not only to the hostel but also to the city. Ticino ticket that enables free public transport is a really good invention and I suggest strongly other tourists to use it.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. The room location and facilities were exceptional. I have to add that I booked a single room and therefore was moved to the neighboring Continental Park Hotel. So just something to take into account.

Obiekt Casa Calina położony jest w miejscowości Carona i zapewnia sezonowy odkryty basen, ogród, wspólny salon oraz taras. The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained.
