Located 500 metres from the town centre of San Pedro de Atacama, Hotel Anpaymi Atacama offers accommodations in the commune of Lickancabur. The host was so lovely. She went out of her way to help us and give us tips on what to do. She also spoke perfect English which made it a lot easier for us. The room itself was really comfortable, and got cleaned daily. There was also a kitchen available for cooking, and a big fridge to store food. Location was great, maybe 10 minutes walk from the main street in a quieter part of town. San Pedro is very safe though so it was great even walking back at night. Very very happy with our stay.

Just 10 minutes’ walk from Plaza de Armas, this rustically inspired hostel is located in San Pedro de Atacama. Bicycle rentals are available at Hostal Casa Turipite. Excellent place! The owners are really nice and helpful and were even accommodating our plans as they changed! A really nice lady serves daily breakfast which is super yummy and if you leave before that, they can prepare you a lunch bag! The room and bed was nice and clean and got cleaned daily and the shower was great! Overall an excellent stay!

Excellent location, close to everything. Half a block away from Caracoles street. The staff were super friendly, our plans changed last minute due to unforseen weather conditions and they were very understanding and willing to help us out. Our room had a heater which was great for the cold winter nights. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was quite good, and they packed some breakfast to go on the days we had to leave early for a tour. Would definitely stay here again!

Hostal Piedrita de Rio is located in San Pedro de Atacama. This hostel features a garden and a shared kitchen. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Mrs. Elvira, who attended to us, was very sweet and attentive, always in a good mood and with a smile on her face. Although it is located far from the town's center, the hotel is like a refuge, there is not much movement and it is very peaceful. It is possible to rent bicycles to go faster to the town centre, although we didn't rent one, we went on foot. They seemed to be doing some work to improve the space, but more improvements were needed in the surroundings. The street needed to be significantly improved, but it's not the hotel's fault. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a few days, there is parking for your car. TIP for travellers: San Pedro de Atacama seems to be a calm place, there is a lot to see and getting around by car seems to be a much more pleasant option than rushing around on tours. Shower water is hot during the day, and at night it takes a little longer to heat up. Self-service breakfast and complete. Elvira kindly prepared the table for us each morning.
