Such a nice place to stay - simple but nice with all the facilities. Lovely owners. Bea's tour was great. Even though we're English speakers & the tour is in Spanish, at least we got access into the sites you need a guide for at a very good rate. She was relaxed but kept things moving in a nice way on the 1st day when we had a very large group. Pua Vaenga is a bit out of town but they have all manner of vehicles to hire at very good rates. I would suggest you factor that into the equation if you choose to stay there. We stayed for 4 nights, brought food from Santiago for 3 days & thought we would treat ourselves to a meal out on the last night. Honestly, we would have been just as happy to have a simple meal there on the deck, it was so nice.

The bed was extremely comfortable, there was wi fi and the TV had cable connection. Carolina was very flexible with the check-in since I arrived a bit later due to the fact I got lost in Santiago. Also, she upgraded my room for free. I totally recommend it. I will definitely come back.

Just got back from the most wonderful stay at El Mirador in Valparaiso! Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem. Marisol, the owner, greeted me with the warmest smile and immediately made me feel like family rather than just another tourist. My room was spotless and so peaceful - I slept like a baby every night! Quick tip though: the windows in my room faced the interior hallway rather than outside, so I kept mine open for some fresh air circulation (totally worth it). The highlight of my mornings was definitely enjoying breakfast on that gorgeous patio - sipping coffee while taking in those breathtaking views of Valpo's colorful hills and the ocean beyond. The bread and local fruits were absolutely delicious! I'm already planning my return trip. If you're heading to Valparaiso, do yourself a favor and book with Marisol at El Mirador. You won't regret it!

Maki is a very confortable with a lot of space for working on a laptop. The wifi is good most of the time. THere was one day when the wifi went out as I was working in the dorm. The staaff kept the hostel clean, and the kitchen was well kept. Maki is the best hostel I have stayed at on Calle Uriolla in Valparaiso, and this is the best so far.

I stayed in private room with clean bathroom. Comfortable bed. The common area allows you to interact with fellow travelers. Walking distance to everything. Kori is an awesome host. I came there without planning but the host helped me and all others book those tours for reasonable price. Also gave us ride to the airport. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
