The staff was very friendly, kind, helpful and paid attention in details. That was very impressive. The room was so nice, clean, comfortable, and the food was so delicious. The location is in Nubian village which is surrounded by colorful painting houses next to the Nile river. It is very pretty. Highly recommended!

This property was 10/10. The host is extremely friendly and kind to help you navigate the local tourist spots and is willing to help you arrange your tours. The house is clean and comfortable and very well located close the city centre. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone traveling on a budget.

Nubian Hights guesthouse — это хостел в городе Ash Shallāl, расположенный в 19 км и 4,3 км соответственно от таких достопримечательностей, как Мавзолей Ага-хана и Нубийский музей. It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).

Wanees Hostel — это хостел в городе Асуан, в 23 км от такой достопримечательности, как Мавзолей Ага-хана. В распоряжении гостей номера кондиционер, а также общий лаундж. Хороший хостел, я жила на 4 этаже, кухней не пользовалась, поэтому 5 этаж прокомментировать не могу. Понравилось, что в ванной комнате именно ванная, а не дырка в полу, как часто бывает. Быстрый интернет. Хорошая постель, чисто. Есть возможность за дополнительную плату постирать вещи. Многие пишут, что сложно найти. Я нашла легко. Вещи мне помог занести наверх администратор. Удобное расположение для прогулок по городу. Рядом рынок, но шума я не слышала совсем, возможно все зависит от расположения комнаты. Дружелюбные и общительные администратор и владелец хостела. Хорошо пообщались. Рекомендую:)

بيت شمس — это хостел в городе Асуан, в 18 км и 11 км соответственно от таких достопримечательностей, как Мавзолей Ага-хана и Нубийский музей. We had an amazing time staying at Chams House! My family (3 people) and I stayed for 3 nights. They greeted us with a fruit basket and lemon mint juice, which was such a thoughtful surprise! The house was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the family made us feel at home the entire time. Since we had a lot of luggage, they arranged a microbus to pick us up from the train station, which made things much easier. At first, we were a bit unsure about the location, but the family helped us plan a great program for the 3 days, taking care of every little detail. A big delicious breakfast was waiting for us every morning. We also asked for a homemade traditional dinner, and they cooked an amazing meal for us. The family was so friendly and kind—we had wonderful conversations with them, and they were some of the nicest and most humble people we met in Egypt. They even called the bus station to help us with an issue we had with our bus to Hurghada. The wifi was surprisingly great, I was able to work the whole time freely. But the highlight for us was how authentic and local the whole experience felt. It was so different from anything else we saw in Egypt, and being immersed in the Nubian culture was unforgettable. The islands were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the Nubian massage my mom, aunt, and I got in the guest house was amazing! They even let us check out late, since our next bus was untill 3pm. We absolutely loved our time at Chams House and would recommend it to everyone. Don’t think twice— I'm sure you’ll love it as much as we did! Thank you to Mr Chams, Mrs Bertuda, Khetamy and the cutest little Anas, you all made us feel at home.

A special local experience there, the first thing i liked most was the Nile way from the port to the hostel by boat .. when you book , Rehab ( the owner of the hostel ) send you to handle everything about the transportation with you .. She also can help you to visit any places in Aswan .. I booked with her Abu simple trip by shared car was great and the next day she recommended to me more places to visit in Aswan .. Also if you interested in the local food and life .. this is the best place for you.
